I am online now playing a ranked game!!!

The full game first asks whether you want to import the data from the demo!!!

First don't panic, you have to go through the training game and beat the goblins before you can access the network menu.

Now you choose infrastructure!! Here you can also choose duel history which lists recent opponents and game result.

Then choose 1 round or 3 round duel!!! :-)

Then you get 3 options:

[b]Search for an opponent[/b]....instantly found a room...YOU MUST CHOOSE YOUR DECK BEFORE JOINING THE ROOM....you see some stats then off you go...I was winning 8) (with starter deck) but d/c'd to see what happens 8) 8)....I lost and receive no points.. :D :D :D ..the ranking isn't like PS3 its purely points based so just the same as if I hadn't played a game..no points...my opponent got 200...the highest points in the world at the moment is around 2500 points...played another game and d/c'd in the room...lost the game 0 points...not sure how many my opponent got??

[b]Ranking board[/b]...name title and points....not like PS3 you don't lose points if you lose only gain when you win.

[b]Deck builder[/b]....as demo

THERE IS NO OPTION FOR CUSTOM GAME USING INFRASTRUCTURE...... :cry:

....so for tourneys/leagues it will to be an ad-hoc meet up!!!

I will not say anymore as that is what I would want to know about the infrastructure!!!

Anyway, finally got around to buying this and I'm pleasantly surprised with a few features. First off I'm amazed there's a direct online ranked mode - I thought we'd be forced to use adhoc party, really happy about this!

However, the biggest shock was all the changes I'm noticing to various cards. I've only just started playing but can already see many changes to lots of cards (attack value, cost etc). And am I mistaken or did I receive mana when my opponent summoned a creature with a cubic?

These balance changes and ranked play have got me VERY excited. I stopped playing EOJ through a bit of frustration with saying the same bloody decks every single time I went online. Have the balanced changes done something to address that problem? Are more decks and play styles now viable?

Please please please say yes....

After starting the game, it loads and loads... The stick light is flashing but nothing hapanes.

The first time I copied the game again from PS3 and it worked.

Now in the process of doing this again :evil:

3 min turns

all players divided in 4 groups of 4 players

groups will be populated taking into account ELO ratings at end of registration

Top 2 of each division advance to quarter finals

group matches will be played in 2 games per opponent, every player can go 1st once

order of who goes 1st in what match will be pre-determined by group ranking (highest player goes 1st in 1st game)
group matches can end in a draw (1-1)

everybody plays everybody in their group

in case of tie for number of games won, tie-breaker will be based on number of wins goind 2nd then number of losses going 1st then number of turns needed in your losses (the higher the better)

quarter-finals,semi-finals and final will have a 3rd game if needed with random 1st player

2 credits for runner-up

The PS3 version had the whole gimmick of using the camera and real physical cards, which to be honest, is what attracted me to the game. I then found that it was an amazingly deep tactical game and now I'm hooked.

I guess what I'm trying to say is that EOJ Legends doesn't seem to add anything new, and with the lack of PS Eye I can't see it attracting a new audience. OK, its got the story mode, but I find it really really dull. Maybe they could have given it cut scenes or something, rather than still images and text? Also, I personally really love the battle animations but they've been stripped away too.

Jesus, it must look like I hate the game, but I really do love it.
