I am a newcomer to the community of EoJ, so please pardon me if this question has been asked before. I really want to get my girlfriend and others I know interested in the game, but, I haven't actually gotten any additional cards due to the sky-rocketing prices of boxes. Instead, for local play, I was considering buying the Series I preconstructed decks to play. I say this mainly because they are relatively cheap in comparison. However, I was wondering how balanced the decks were when facing off against each other. I want the games to be fun and dynamic, while none of decks display a distinct advantage over another. Is this possible with the Series I preconstructed decks? Thanks in advance.

They are pretty well balanced. Set 1 earth is the best. Biolith and Fire are pretty even. Water and wood are the least useful IMO. Still, they are competitive enough with each other to have fun with friends and family.

That's great to hear! Hopefully, I can manage to find a set of 5 of the Series I Precon decks for $50 or less. I look forward to some local fun and, perhaps, some unranked fun! Who knows?

"They are pretty well balanced. Set 1 earth is the best." who can give me a list of the cards on the earth set/deck?
or all decks are different?

Click on the 'Decks' button at the top of the page, then click on the + sign next to the 'Preconstructed Decks' button, then click on the 'Earth Emperor' deck.
