i'm not too down. the cards are still usable for ps3 and if you want to use them on the psp, i'm sure there will be a way for players who have cards to scan the ones they own onto the psp. i think the only money you'll need to spend is for new cards. or the "30 new cards"

lol I wasn't asking for any sympathy dude . However you've enjoyed your card purchases for ages, I've not even used most of mine yet. Oh well, c'est la vie.

That 'win cards from your opponent' is quite interesting. I like a gambling aspect to games.

LOL.

To date i have spent roughly £1,500 on cards.

I can't imagine the money Chris (EOJcollectors), Justin(Wikd20vt), or andymonte have spent on cards.

There’s a chance that the PSP version will only support ADHOC play if titles such as Monster Hunter Freedom Unite are anything to go by. The press release includes no mention of online play per say. This would, at least, mean that there’s always a place for the PS3 version.

I can't see why they can't print these thirty cards, and any further cards, in the same manner as a theme deck. The code and game mechanics would pretty much be in place so it's surely possible and feasible.

Seriously though Habanero if i was you i would ask Mark, Chris or Dozens to ask Chuck if he would look at the idea's behind PC-EOJ and pass them on to the game developers.

I believe this game could turn out to be big, and wouldn't be surprised if Sony's took second place once this is out.

Interesting video here :

http://vodpod.com/watch/2073088-eye-of-judgment-psp

At 1 point both players had 21 mana, I wonder if they changed some mechanics....

They also confirm online play and ranking in that video so thats good news. I wonder if I can trade in my card collection for a psp go.....

I would suggest keeping your cards because they have all just increased in value because of this. There is new players that join the PS3 game everyday, now that number will double in size once people see this new game and want to learn and play the PS3 version.

I'm so torn now. The more I read and find out about the PSP version, the more I like it. Simultaneously, the more I feel that the PS3 players are being hung out to dry.

Do you really think that? With a separate digital collection on the PSP I cant see someone wanting to collect real cards AND the digitals. On top of that, it seems the PSP version is getting balance changes in the form of some new cards which the PS3 version isn't getting. I only see the card values depreciating and less people playing on the PS3 in the future.
