The dragons look pretty different than the set 1 dragons to me. Especially the wood and water dragon.

You think the dragons could be limit one per deck and phantom or theme deck URs for set 3?

I want to see something better than dragons for phantoms, I doubt they are phantoms as they are already revealed to us, dragons are what I'd call a poor mans card, it's got quality and is a great card but is only a rare so most people can get hold of it, if they are phantoms then they have just ruined set 3's release as that means we already know what the phantoms are.
On the other hand they could be cool, they could make a picture like the promo's from set 2 did, I just want to see really cool phantoms that are like all others, affordable, maybe the dragons will be phantoms and they will follow a pattern of:
set 1 phantoms are 3 mana apart from lith, set 2 phantoms are 5 mana (+2) and don't have a lith phantom, set 3 phantoms are 7 mana (being the dragons previous cost) so it adds 2 each time, the lith dragon could be 8 mana as they are generally more powerful and it would mean that the SC of lith phantoms double.
These are things that I doubt will happen but hey, we only know there are dragons in set 3 so we just have to wait and find out.

I doubt dragons will be the set 3 Phantom, but then you never know what these new dragons are capable of, maybe they do something crazy like reduce the sommonsing cost of set 1 dragons sould while in play you can release a set 1 dragon for like 2 Mana or something crazy, you never know tho set 1 dragons are limited in there cost ability, whos to say set 3 dragons wont make dragon based decks a serious force to be recond with

The problem of dragons and gods being very powerful but not being good enough value for the mana cost is mentioned in another post. I hope set 3 brings these creatures into play more.

thats part of the beauty of dragons, there not everyday creatures, you can have one in your deck and harly ever use it, plus using them can waste all your mana as cost you the game if you not carefull, but like I say thats part of there beauty because you have to save them for special occasions.
I played the water dragon the other day in my new balta deck, have played the deck a few times now and only used the dragon once, it was a sweet move tho, I cast Belta out on field 1, my opponent came stright in with Battle Master (182) wacking 6 from Belta leaving him on 1HP, but I had a darksword on field 6 also, was able to incarnate Asfisa over the darksword, play sacrament on Balta and cast the dragon in its place field 1 taking out battlemaster, thats the beauty of dragons

nice move, pretty lucky but nice move, the game is about luck so there's nothing wrong with it, took skill to think of what to do with the cards though.
I have never use the lith and water dragons as I find them to be the least useful, I use the earth for mana generating, I use the fir for it's 1 mana attack and I use the wood for it's activation cost ability to take down the little nuisances

think is, with the deck I was using there are 2 Blue Cubic (36)s, mainly to try to cast Asfisa and (or) Belta however if you draw the cubic early game and dont draw Belta or Asfisa then the Dragon is a good 3rd option to open up more options to try and get some use out of the cubics

as far as set 2 phantoms go, Im sure I got the the most out of Jirva, I feel I work out good stratigies with Freedonia, and had a fairly decend run with Lusirion, but completely missed out having a good deck with Sarma even tho he was the first set 2 phantom I got hold of.
Betrayers Zolda and Noova I created good decks around, Vamos I feel I had my fair share of fun with maybe streched to the limit of what you can really do with an undead deck which is not that great, but again Corleo I completley missed out on, never once got a mana steal with Corleo that I can think of

You know, I was thinking, back to the topic of the new dragons for a bit, maybe these aren't just regular old dragons. I mean we got the regular dragons in set 1. Maybe these are Ultra Rare Dragon Kings! Remember story wise it said Scion killed the kings to make the Ourobos Dragon. Why not include the originals?
Well, either way they still look awesome.
