Of all the words i used in my initial post only the word 'no' (used once) has a negative meaning and in the context in which i used it i was making a factual statement. I did not factor the vagaries of mind or general disposition of any individual reader into my wording. I may be a man of poor education but i know i am right in this instance Mr Shadowken, your disagreement with me is without sound basis.

Welcome!!...This game and the commnity are awesomes...so youll have all you need here to get full advantage of the game...I agree with Dj, you gotta go for the sets and not the theme decks...after it you can get the ultra rares...have fun and dont hesitate to contact us if you have any doubts...regards

context how i (and i think a lot of people would) interpret what has occured

new guy: "Hi, i am new ... just bought the game and looking forward to playing it"
-> undertone is enthousiastic

you: "the cards for this game are no longer being manufactured"
-> undertone is explicitly negative as opposed to the initial post

better: "allthough the cards are no longer being printed for this game, you can find a lot of cards for cheap prices -> check the trade topics in this forum to start"
-> undertone is constructive, yet only refering to the same fact that no NEW cards are being printed anymore

in any case ... as i started this post ... you are totally entitled to have your own opînion on this, or any other matter

Welcome here, and I agree with what was said about older players having a good card advantage. Especially certain set 3 cards can be a real pain to get. Add me to your friendslist if you wanna play some games.

Thats one of the main reasons that make me believe that a newbie tournament is a good idea...here everyone can win...check the link and register to have some fun
